We are thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted by the Family Business Network for its North West Family Business Awards in the Best Social Impact category. The ceremony will be held on Friday 13th May at the Rum Warehouse, Titanic Hotel, Liverpool and we can’t wait to celebrate the strength of family business with other like minded family companies.
We are proud members of The Family Business Network, a supportive community that seeks to celebrate family businesses, large and small, across all sectors and industries, encouraging collaboration, learning and development.
In all, MissionCX were nominated in three categories: People’s Choice Cumbria, Business Services and Best Social Impact, and shortlisted as Finalists in the Best Social Impact category. The Best Social Impact award recognises purpose driven family businesses which have demonstrated a real compassion for their community and evidenced the role they have played in delivering social impact.
Managing Director, Ben Slater, said, “We are honoured to have been shortlisted in this special category. MissionCX are committed to leaving a lasting, positive legacy for our local community, through our 1% pledge initiative, which commits 1% of our profits, equity, time and product to philanthropic endeavours. Our Acorn fund will be distributed to those in our community that need it most. It is our intent to grow our acorn into an oak tree, maximising our social impact.
Being a finalist means so much to us, it’s a real reflection of our commitment to social value, fairness and people, both in our company and throughout the wider community.”
